Janes Cottage is a traditional brick and flint cottage situated in a pretty shared courtyard off Westgate Street in Blakeney, just a few minutes walk to the quayside.

The downstairs accommodation comprises of a well fitted kitchen which opens via an archway into a wonderfully cosy living/dining room, with a woodburning stove set in a traditional brick fireplace. Pamment flooring throughout.

The downstairs bathroom is modern with a white suite and glorious blue walls, creating a wonderful seaside atmosphere.

The upstairs accommodation is reached via a traditional steep Norfolk cottage staircase which opens directly into the master double bedroom. This simply decorated room benefits from dual aspect windows one of which overlooks the charming courtyard below. The twin bunk bed room leads directly from the double and is cheerfully decorated with a nautical theme.

This cottage is full of charm and personality and the outside courtyard is ablaze with hollyhocks during the summer. The woodburner and electric heating make it a wonderful retreat during the cooler months of the year making this cottage a good all year round home from home.

Completely newly-renovated to a superb standard, Waders Retreat offers modern, stylish living in a character cottage within walking distance of coastal scenery, pubs, restaurants and shops.

The sitting room is entered through a stable door and is tastefully furnished with quality leather sofas and rugs on the oak wooden floor, and is well equipped with a flat screen wall hung TV (no DVD), CD/radio stereo and an inset modern electric fire. There is also a payphone.

The kitchen has some stunning features which complement the modern units including a black Smeg fridge and an ‘inline’ electric hob with a 2 drawer dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and microwave. The dining table comfortably seats six with double doors opening onto the patio area with garden furniture and BBQ.

The bathroom is fitted with a new white suite and a powerful shower over the bath. All the bedrooms are on the first floor and offer good wardrobe and storage space. The beds and linen are all of high quality and offer true comfort. The bunk beds are designed and built for adult use. Space is adequate but limited in the bunk bedroom.

For privacy there are plantation shutters throughout with high quality oak flooring downstairs and carpeting throughout the first floor including the bathroom. Heating is provided by efficient vertical radiators which are modern and architecturally styled without dominating the rooms. Lighting is all on a dimmer basis with modern side lights and lamps throughout. Smoke alarms are also fitted throughout the cottage. Outside is a small patio garden with garden furniture, security lighting and a BBQ.

Parking can usually be found opposite the cottage even at holiday times.
