The cottage easily accommodates four guests in comfort but is so cosy it’s intimate enough should just two of you need a hideaway!

A Grade II listed cottage located right at the heart of Burnham Market with views over the Green. This stunning renovation provides luxurious, well equipped, tasteful accommodation enabling you to relax in comfort. It’s full of character with original beamed ceilings and a Coalbrookdale stove.

Two double bedrooms occupy the first floor, one of which has a luxury ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. The kitchen /diner is a large, sociable living space with a cream Aga as the focal point and a large dining table. Both the sitting room and sun room open off the kitchen and a TV in each prevent any squabbling should interests differ!

There is no garden but on the Green (right outside your front door) are well placed benches, perfect for watching the slow pace of this unspoilt market town.

Very well equipped for a comfortable, relaxing holiday, Coachman’s is close to all the amenities of North Norfolk and a stroll to the shops, pubs and restaurants of Burnham Market.

As its name suggests, Marsh Retreat is the perfect refuge from the stresses of modern, urban life. This newly built brick, flint and chalk cottage, finished to an exceptional standard, is set in an unrivalled position overlooking vast stretches of saltmarsh and out towards the beautiful, sandy beach at Brancaster. Step out through the French doors leading around to the raised terrace and enjoy the views of this dynamic coastline noted for its birdlife or take the steps down onto the coastal path and enjoy a stroll to the beach or a longer walk along to Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea.

The cottage offers a wonderful blend of old and new with oil-fired central heating and accommodation comprising one double bedroom, a luxuriously appointed bathroom and an open plan kitchen/living area with hand built units, dishwasher, fridge, a microwave, hob and double oven. The sitting room has a wood burning stove, TV, DVD and CD player with books and games for rainy days. Other useful additions include hairdryer, ironing facilities, cot, highchair and baby listening device. Towels and bedlinen are provided with access to laundry facilities if required.

Outside we provide a double cart shed style car port, a BBQ, garden table and chairs and, of course – the views.

Alexander House Sleeps 6 (Premier Range)

1 master suite, (double bedroom, dressing room, ensuite shower room), 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom. Family bathroom with separate shower cubicle. Sitting room, kitchen/dining room, utility room, cloakroom with WC. Garden and parking. Sorry no pets. No children under 5 years old.

A wonderful new home with excellent top quality specifications built in the traditional local style. Feel totally relaxed surrounded by tasteful furnishings, stylish décor and pleasant personal touches. For warmer days the fully enclosed, mostly lawned garden offers a patio area and barbeque. For additional ease of use double doors open onto the garden from both the sitting room and the kitchen. The kitchen itself is lovely. The finish of the hand built units is high anyway but the owners have equipped it thoughtfully to encompass the needs of most cooks. ( if you want to! - the White Horse at the Staithe is down the road and this part of the world abounds with culinary excitement) There is a central island unit with a breakfast bar and stools. All the rooms are of a good size and the house as a whole has a light, clean and airy feel.

One interesting locational feature of Alexander House is the footpath discreetly hidden behind a hedge located on the opposite side of the parking area which takes you directly to the coastal path, a 5 – 10 min walk.
The standard of Alexander House is just so good – highly recommended for a memorable holiday.
