2 twin / double bedrooms (single beds pushed together) and a further bunk bedroom. Upstairs shower room, downstairs bathroom. Sitting room, kitchen with dining table, utility room, larder. Enclosed walled garden, front patio with rural views, private driveway and ample parking. Well behaved dogs welcome.
Originally two farm workers cottages, a sensitive renovation has brought quality and charm to a delightful higgledy piggledy cottage with a lovely south-facing outlook in the heart of the village.
The cottage is approached along a private driveway and bridge from the south of the village. Parking for a number of cars is available.
Enter the cottage through the boot room / utility room (with the larder fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and drying rack) on to the hallway, leading to the downstairs bathroom and then on to the larder (with ample storage and microwave) and rest of the ground floor.
The large, oak floored, sitting room with squashy sofa and armchairs and wood burning stove has a secluded aspect. The newly installed double doors open on to the south-facing patio that in turn has the view to the meadows and river. A hidden staircase in the corner accesses the Easterly twin room.
The shaker style kitchen has original pamment floor tiles with dining table with eight chairs. The private south-facing walled garden is accessed through a stable door and has foot access to the coast road. Then there is the second hidden staircase that leads to the upstairs landing. The westerly twin room (with wash hand basin) has views over the garden.
The décor is particularly attractive. Neutral background tones with restful green and subtle terracotta accents, together with hand made curtains all add to the subtle atmosphere of this old cottage.
It is an easy stroll to the village shop, pub and coastal and inland walks.

Please note: both staircases are steep.
Also, the bridge is only designed for domestic vehicles up to 4x4’s. Under no circumstances are trailers, caravans, boat trailers or any other kind of tow allowed.
