In a splendid tranquil location these two cottages are situated up a private road within a few hundred metres of the beach at Weybourne, with views towards the sea and over a private nature reserve. Both cottages have first floor balconies, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine, whilst enjoying the scenic views. These cottages provide an ideal base from which to travel around the delightful North Norfolk coastal villages or just to stroll to the beach for the day.

Both cottages retain character features, beamed and vaulted ceilings and traditional Norfolk pamment flooring. They are comfortably furnished and well equipped with a relaxed atmosphere. Books and games are provided together with a TV and video.

The gardens are very attractive with the mill stream running through them (children must be supervised) and have recently been divided giving each cottage its own private garden and patio area.

The famous ‘Poppy line’ Steam railway at Weybourne is approx 1 1/2 miles up the road, a little further on are walks in the extensive pine forest and the beautiful Sheringham Park. In the village of Weybourne itself the Ship Inn is a friendly pub providing good food, Real Ales and is only approx. 5 minutes walk from the cottages. Opposite the Pub is the Spar shop, which is ideal for essential provisions.

Close by is the town of Sheringham, with its varied shops and Leisure Complex for Children of all ages to enjoy. It has a busy market every Saturday. The charming Georgian town of Holt is only 5 miles away. With its’ wonderful architecture and exciting shops, this is a must to visit.

This unspoilt, traditional village is an excellent spot to stay. Easy stroll to  Sheringham Park, designed by Humphrey Repton and noted for the rhododenrons that produce a stunning sea of colour. Best viewed from the tree top towers which also give wonderful elevated views of the coastline. A short drive brings you to the town of Sheringham offering traditional seaside ambience and activities.

Located in a quiet, traditional style terrace, Bluebell Cottage has a distinctive contemporary comfort – clean modern lines with imaginative stylish touches. The open fire is a feature of the sitting room which is large enough to comfortably seat five people. The conservatory opens off the sitting room and onto the garden and is a very pleasant peaceful place to sit. The well planned shaker style kitchen is well equipped; the dining area has an extendable table easily accommodating 5 people.  Upstairs, the rooms are good sizes with nice views over the rear garden and the church to the front.

Overall this cottage offers very well equipped, comfortable and tasteful accommodation.

Wisteria Cottage Sleeps 6

A spacious conversion of the old Schoolhouse.  The furnishings and décor are in keeping with the style of the cottage, appealing to a traditional taste, with some attractive antique pieces.  The sitting room, formerly the headmaster’s study, has the original superb vaulted ceiling, complete with open coal fire.  The traditional farmhouse-style kitchen has modern appliances yet is in keeping with the overall character of the  cottage.  Upstairs, the double and twin rooms have pretty views over the walled gardens towards Sheringham Park.  The family bathroom is on this floor.  A further twin bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor.  There is a large and attractive garden (south and west facing) mostly lawn and flower-beds, but also with a patio.  Parking is close by. (There is no direct road access to the cottage, which is reached via a short sloping path through pretty courtyard gardens.  It is possible to unload very close to the cottage).

Ramblers Sleeps 5

1 double bedroom, (with ensuite shower room) 1 twin room, 1 single. Family bathroom (with shower over). Sitting/diner, kitchen, downstairs WC. Small garden and use of the communal gardens. (rarely used so very peaceful).

Part of the old village School Rooms this cottage is extremely comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with new, quality furnishings. Immaculate and tastefully presented, the cottage is a quiet very pleasant place to stay. 

There are distant sea views from several rooms including the sitting room and kitchen. Although the garden is not enclosed it is very pretty and furniture is provided.  Parking is only a minute’s walk away. (there is no direct road access to the cottage – its accessed via a short sloping path through the pretty gardens -  and you can unload very close to the cottage).

The village itself is off the beaten track, very pretty with an unusual freshwater spring on the Green. An easy stroll to Sheringham Park; designed by Humphrey Repton the park has high level viewing towers over the steam railway and the sea. The rhododendron collection is spectacular, May /June is the best time to see these.

Originally the gamekeepers home, Keepers Cottage is really tucked away in a storybook setting on the edge of a sporting estate. Located on the outskirts of the village, you are midst a network of footpaths and country tracks yet 5 minutes from the Victorian seaside town of Sheringham.

This wonderfully secluded, detached and recently renovated cottage is set in its own large informal garden overlooking woodland. The comfortably furnished sitting room comes complete with a woodburning stove for a true cottage feel and the door opens onto the rear garden which overlooks a quintessential English woodland.

The renovations include full oil fired central heating in addition to the woodburner and a newly fitted kitchen with an extendable oak table comfortably seating 6.

A very well presented cottage quietly located, and ideal for the Coast. Other areas of interest very close by are Sheringham Park and Felbrigg Hall. Within walking distance is the Wheatsheaf Pub serving good food (booking is advisable)

Both bedrooms are on the first floor with the master double room having a large bathroom furnished in a Victorian style complete with roll top bath. It also benefits from a smaller dressing area. The twin room is light and airy with dual aspect views of rolling countryside. Downstairs there is a further shower/ WC and utility which opens off the large entrance hall with wood burner.

The kitchen is spacious and is open plan to the dining area. In the sitting room is an open fire and access to the conservatory which is delightfully warm and sunny. The gardens are front and rear, with varied landscaping of patios, a lawn and raised flower beds again with lovely, peaceful views. You also have the use of a summer House and Gazebo.

Short breaks taken all year round with the exception of July and August.

Whitegates accepts short breaks all year round (except for Mid July - end of August when a minimum booking of 1 week is accepted)

Quietly nestled in approximately 1/3 acre of garden and yet only approx 5 mins walk from the town centre and seafront.

This is a delightful 1930’s period cottage which has recently been renovated to a high standard yet retains many of the original features of this era. The picture windows in the drawing room and double bedrooms which overlook the long sloping front garden, provide panoramic views of Sheringham, whilst the equally large and quietly secluded rear garden provides sea views from the gloriously positioned picnic table, together with direct access to the coastal path.

The drawing room is furnished with large comfortable sofa’s and chairs, providing a restful and comfortable oasis in which to enjoy the open fire in the cooler months, or throw open the door and sit on the traditional veranda on warm balmy evenings.

Dining is informal in the well equipped kitchen /diner, which leads to the rear garden .

The bedrooms are all tastefully furnished in a restful pale blue and white palette, having one double and one twin on the ground floor together with a large double and smaller twin on the first floor.

The property also benefits from newly fitted and tiled family bathroom with a large separate shower cubicle to the ground floor, a further family shower room to the first floor.  There is also a separate cloakroom.

Hall Cottage was originally built to accommodate the chauffeur at Gresham Hall and it is situated within a quiet corner of the country estate. To reach the house there is a pleasant drive over a long private road across parkland. The house itself is spacious and comfortable having been recently redecorated with new carpets and soft furnishings. The kitchen is spacious, clean and well equipped; there is a serving hatch through to the dining room and the sitting room is large with plenty of comfortable seating from which to enjoy the wood burning stove. It is a most peaceful rural location yet close to the coast at Sheringham (approx 3 miles) with the shops, beach and the stream train to Holt.

There is plenty of parking to the front and a large rear garden, not enclosed but there is no public traffic on the estate.
